Q: Do you send fingerprints electronically?
A: For electronic submission within the state of Georgia please contact fieldprint (https://www.fieldprint.com/). Fieldprint is contracted by the state of Georgia to send fingerprints electronically within the state. All other states will require a physical fingerprint card (FD-258) to be mailed to them. At Nextgen we print on the fingerprint cards (FD-258)  then you mail cards to the entity requesting them.

Q: Do you do fingerprinting for Hazmat?
A: No, please contact Identogo for an appointment (https://www.identogo.com/), However, If you are not able to get an appointment Nextgen can assist you in mailing in fingerprint cards to the card scanning station for upload. Please leave your contact information and i will get back to you shortly.

Q: Is fingerprinting and livescan the same?

A: With the livescan technology, we capture your fingerprints electronically and print them in ink on fingerprint cards (FD-258 Cards). Livescan fingerprinting printed on fingerprint cards is the equivalent to ink fingerprinting. The agency that requested your ink fingerprints will be satisfied with a livescan printout on a fingerprint card.

Live scanning does not require us to use messy ink on your hands. It is a much cleaner process with a better quality of prints.

Q: How much does it cost to get Fingerprinted in Kennesaw, Georgia?

A: Here at Nextgen Permitting and Fingerprinting, it costs $65 for two fingerprint cards using the ink pad. Additional cards are $10 each.

A: Here at Nextgen Permitting and Fingerprinting, it costs $55 for two fingerprint cards using the livescan scanner to capture prints and print using ink on fingerprint cards (FD-258). Additional cards are $10 each

Q: I need fingerprinting for a nursing license.

A: We service nurses and other health professionals needing licenses in other states. Bring your cards with you that you received from the licensing agency. We also have in stock the FD-258 cards if you did not receive one from your agency.

Q: How long does it take to get Fingerprinted?

A: It normally takes about 10-30 minutes from start to finish to get electronically fingerprinted or traditionally fingerprinted.

Q: Do you accept walk-ins?

A: We do not accept walk-ins, however, please call or text if you would like a same-day appointment.

Q: What payment types do you accept?

A: We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, cash, and zelle payments.

Q: Do you provide Federal Background Check for US Citizens?

A: This is often called a Rap Sheet, FBI Identification Record, or an Identity History Summary. It will contain a record of your criminal history or proof that a record does not exist. The information on your rap sheet will be comprised of various local, state, and federal agency data. Nextgen will take capture prints electronically and submit via an approved channeler, results will be emailed within 48 hrs to your email address provided.  Paper format in a sealed envelope can also be requested.

Q: Do you provide Federal Background Check for NON-US Citizens?

A: This is often called a Rap Sheet, FBI Identification Record, or an Identity History Summary. It will contain a record of your criminal history or proof that a record does not exist. The information on your rap sheet will be comprised of various local, state, and federal agency data. Nextgen Permitting and Fingerprinting will capture prints and mail prints to the FBI (Must be mailed for non-citizens). Results will be mailed back to the client within 2 weeks.

Q: Do you provide digital format of fingerprints and digital photo for ATF submissions?

A: Nextgen Permitting and Fingerprinting has the technology to provide ATF compliant EFT files for eForm 1 and eForm 4.
